What were you afraid of as a child that seems silly to you now?

When I was about my son's age I thought the devil lived in the toilet and when you sat down to poop he'd stab you in the butt with his pitch fork.

LMAO! I thought something like that a few times when I was small, but mine involved a baby crocodile after hearing rumors that it was possible (which I know now it is not lol).

lol...this reminded me of how i was afraid of toilets with black seats, and toilets with the blue water. silly shit.
