QotD: Makes Me Wonder...

Which person from your past, who you've lost touch with, do you wonder about the most?

The first name that comes to mind would be my Jr High School best friend, Erica Ann Johnson. I moved from Idaho to Oregon with my family when I was 15 and in 9th grade. Erica had been my friend since 7th grade and we did everything together. We kept in touch and even visited each other a couple of times. She eventually moved to California with her family. After my then boyfriend, now husband and I moved from Oregon to Washington, keeping in touch got harder. When I told her I was getting married and I didn't ask her to be my maid of honor, we were no longer friends. She was very mad, since we had always said we'd ask each other. Honestly, I didn't ask her because she was in college by then and would be in the middle of school when we got married. I couldn't afford to fly her to our wedding and I wouldn't have asked her to pay for it, so I didn't ask. She wanted to at least be asked so she could say no, but still had the option. Shortly after I got married my father died. When I called to tell her, she was heartless. I never spoke to her again. I think about her often and wonder where she is, if she has kids, if she thinks of me...
