My husband is a dreamer, he likes to imagine if he'd won the lottery how he'd spend his money. In just about every dream he's told me there has been mention of one of these plasma HDTV that we could hang on the bedroom wall.
Those things are way out of my price range. So in order to make his HDTV dreams come true (maybe in time for his birthday) I've been price shopping. Second Act offer refurbished products as well as closeouts, overstock and open box merchandise too.

You know with the digital age and the current goal to be totally digital by 2009, a person might as well take the chance to upgrade their tvs, well that is what I'm telling myself. Really I'd like more room in my bedroom and removing a piece of furniture with their entire purpose is to hold a tv and take up space. I will gladly hang the tv and remove the piece of furniture.
Today was my husband's birthday. He turned 40 today. I know I am not far behind him but honestly that seems older than hell to me. I do not want to turn 40 for quite some time. Sadly its just three years away. His parents took him out to lunch, once I reminded them when his birthday was. They took us to Olive G@arden, which is not my most favorite restaurant or his, but they enjoy it. The majority of the day has been just us staying home, letting him watch his tv shows and play his game. Trying to make it a stress free day. I think he's enjoyed it, not quite like he would have enjoyed 24 hours alone with me.... heh
My Mom bought my husband and I new dishes as an early birthday present for each of us. We've had the same dishes since 1988 when we first moved in together.
These are my groovy new ones. They are uber cool. The mugs are big and tall. I packed up 3 different sets of dinnerware and a zillion different random coffee cups. My cupboard looks so cool now and my dinner table looks pretty.
