Its super cold here today only 45. So I think I'll turn up the heat, get a hot coffee and go look at places to travel. I could easily become a traveler once my kids were gone. Traveling to all the places I never thought I'd get to go. Like Spain, what an amazing place. It seems so totally romantic and full of rich history. So first I'm going to browse my favorite online hotel website.
I found several Hotels in Madrid but this one was my favorite. Just look at the detail on that building. Madrid is Spain's capital. Its a large city and has a very modern feel to it with a huge cultural and artistic heritage. One of the places to check out is the historic old town, called "Madrid de las Austrias." The old town is an excellent example of what living in the 16th and 17th century was like. You can visit the Opera House and the Almudena Cathedral which was consecrated by Pope Jon Paul II. They have a huge international airport which has thousands of flights coming in from all over the world. The shopping in Madrid is amazing too, antique shops, furniture and the fashion. Oh yeah... its a girls dream come true.
Another place I'd like to go is Barcelona so I did a quick search for Hoteles en Barcelona
and found this beautiful place. Barcelona is the capital of Catalonia it is a very cosmopolitan city but also have lots of urban character to it. The best place to get a peak at the history is to go into the medieval districts. Walking through the streets of Barcelona you'll see all kinds of beautiful sites, an amazing waterfront filled with modern strucures without forgetting their past. There are many urban beaches, marinas and even seafront golf courses. Barcelona has an authentic open-air museum, where you can see all the many aspects of the city. Barcelona was the home of the 1992 Olympics too.

I really want to go to New York. For years I have wanted to see all the things New York has to offer.
