The two boy dogs, Louie and Kirby are almost always with me. They follow me from room to room and they stay by my side during the day.
Diva, on the other hand is my daughter's dog. If my daughter is home then that's where Diva will be. But during the day when my daughter is at school she is either snuggling with Louie or wrapped up in a ball in my lap. Two more weeks of undies for that poor girl. Oh you see that little spot on the chair next to Diva, she allows me to place one butt cheek there. Isn't she sweet?
About three weeks ago my Mom called me and asked me if I still wanted a front screen door. I do. She said well, I'll be over in a bit with your Christmas present then. Um... ok, but Christmas isn't for 3 more months.
They were on sale so she bought us one and herself two since her old ones had been broken and ripped off by the wind. I've wanted a screen door on this house since we moved in. We had no cross breeze and little light. Plus when people came to the door you'd have to hold back the dogs.
My FIL and MIL came over and we installed the door together. If I know my Mom like I do, we'll still be getting Christmas presents. I'll have to get her some extra special with lots of meaning for her Christmas present.
He is the first big dog I've ever had and he's a huge baby. He has yet to realize that he is big. Since he lives with two little dogs, he seems to think he is little too. This is not so much of a problem until he wants to sit on your lap or lay across your entire body. I think he gets jealous of the other dogs, since they can be lap dogs and he can't.
Lou is a great dog to take on car rides too. He basically sits in one spot and just looks out the window. Although the amount of hair he leaves behind does create a problem. But still I'd sweep and mop twice a day every day just to keep him.
I ♥ Louie.
Do you have a pet? What kind of pet do you own, and why did you choose it?

Our family currently has three dogs.
Kirby followed us home from a bike ride and then dug his way into our backyard. We put up signs and after a week when no one claimed him he cut his hair and got him fixed and he became ours. Kirby is my son's baby, they play together, they hang out together and Kirby loves him to death. He is some type of terrier and he choose us. He is a runner though and given the slightest chance to run out of the house or yard he takes it. He always comes back home though.
After our Gooch (My first baby, 17 years old) died we started searching the Humane Society (animal shelter- save a life, mutts are better than purebreds any day of the week). We'd go once a week sometimes more, my husband wanted a boy dog and I wanted a younger dog. One day my son yells out "This one's got a weenie!" I called my husband and asked if it was ok if we got a dog that was a little bigger than our other dogs. We bought him on the spot. Louie is my baby even if he's a huge dog. He is the first big dog I've ever had and I love him tons. He is the sweetest dog on earth and he can catch things in the air. He's uber cool!
Diva is was the dog of my dreams. I had always wanted a pug dog. One day while at work my husband saw this boy kicking this little pug dog. He yelled at the boy to knock it off and asked if the dog was his. The boy said no, the dog was following him and it made him mad so he kicked it. We put up signs and again after a week she became ours. She is my daughter's baby.
What do you think your pets would act like if they were people? Do you think you'd get along with them?

That's easy...
Diva, my daughter's pug dog would be just as her name implies. A total bitch in both senses of the word. And no we would not get along. She would be a high maintenance woman that thinks we should all serve her and bow to her feet.
Kirby, my son's terrier dog would be the male form of a diva, instead being a divo! He too thinks the world should wait on him and serve him only the best foods on a golden platter. I don't think he and I would get along. Although in his doggie state he is by far my favorite one to cuddle with.
Louie, my boxer/pit dog would be a dopey dude, maybe even a stoner. He's just one big walking goof, never realizing what is going on around him and just in a constant state of happiness. He and I would get along great... ignoring the real world and just being chill.
My Gooch dog, that passed. He would have been a smart man. He would have been able to school you on any given subject and not in a snooty way. He would have been perfect boyfriend material. Awww sweet Gooch.
